The Company:Dragonfly Environmental are recognized leaders in their field and are specialists in ecological restoration of wetlands, riparian zones and saltmarshes and environmental management of a wide range of ecosystems.Dragonfly Environmental’s office is located in Kings Park (Near Blacktown) and we are looking for a passionate and experienced Site Supervisor, who can lead our teams to deliver the best outcomes for the natural areas we care for and restore on the Northern Beaches.With over 22 years caring for natural areas, we have a diversity of projects and opportunities to keep building your skills.The Opportunity:Are you a passionate person who is looking to Care for and Restore Natural Areas for Now and the Future?
  • Are you a person who can bring the best out in a team to deliver great outcomes in bush regeneration, ecosystem restoration, community eco-engagement, large-scale planting projects and more?
  • Can you manage multiple sites, keep daily records, monitor contract obligations, do periodic reporting and liaise with various clients and management regularly?

Skills, experience, and focus areas we are looking for:
  • Experience in Bush Regeneration (minimum 2+ years)
  • Experience in a leadership role (minimum 1+ year preferable)
  • Adaptability.
  • Confident leadership and people management skills.
  • Focus on quality of outcome and time management.
  • A drive for the best outcome of site ecology and flora diversity.
  • Strong passion for our native flora and fauna.
What Qualifications do you need?Essential
  • White card (Construction Induction Card and can be obtained after application)
  • Conservation and EcoSystem Management Certificate 3 (CEM III) or equivalent.
  • Drivers’ license
  • Chemical Certificate (AQF3 ChemCert).
  • First Aid Certificate
Desired
  • Degree/diploma in the environment industry.
  • Manual drivers’ licence
  • Chainsaw ticket and experience in use.
  • Medium Ridged drivers’ licence.
  • Experience in quoting.
  • Experience in large scale revegetation projects.
  • Experience in seed collection and plant propagation.
