
Lead Solutions Engineer (WA)

- The LSE will be required to have strong understanding of application knowledge specific to different segments and be an industry regarded thought leader.
- The LSE will be the technical owner and approver (Functional Descriptions, LAN schematics, points lists, schedules) of design from concept to fulfillment. They will need to understand industry best practices both from an HVAC and technology perspective.
- The LSE is expected to have strong presentation and communication skills and will be expected to deliver presentations and training, primarily to internal parties.
- The LSE is responsible for all communications to the region about the EEP and all initiatives undertaken and all feedback from operational staff to the EEP council.
- The LSE will always have customer satisfaction and engineering quality at front of mind and support all local resources during a project lifecycle from sales to delivery with approval signoffs of all engineering solutions both preliminary and detailed design. (For Construction Sign off)
- The LSE should periodically attend monthly project reviews to ensure EEP adherence.
- Frequently the role will undertake market research and reconnaissance to ensure solutions and tools remain relevant and competitive in an ever-changing market.
- The LSE will also be directly involved in delivery of projects.
- Contributes to national LSE council
- Develop technical skill set with both operational and sales resources
- Develop state/region performance budgets and ensure their attainment
- Participate in Interview, hire, train, mentor evaluate of technical staff
- Support state/region in technical solutions on project tenders both in reviewing tender designs and engineering reviews.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Ideally several Years related work experience required in application knowledge
- Excellent influencing, negotiation and relationship building skills.
- Relevant experience in Systems and Service environment, sales exposure desired but not essential
- Engineering and Project Management Skills
- Proven track record in project engineering both with integrated systems and HVAC application knowledge.
- Experience in providing training with cert 3 preferred.
- Strong PC skills in Excel; Word & Office
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent Leadership Skills
- Sound Organisation and time management skills
- Excellent Customer service skills
