- Structural design of buildings and infrastructure including inspections, assessments, and reporting.
- Work collaboratively with Architects, project managers, building services and civil engineers in multidisciplinary teams delivering significant projects.
- Working as part of a team on projects from conception, through to final design and construction surveillance.
- Project management and supporting the team leader to ensure successful project delivery.
- Work on exciting projects spanning the globe for a variety of clients including government agencies.
- A diverse and flexible workplace with hybrid working arrangements.
- A relevant university degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering
- Membership of Engineers Australia and working towards CPEng and NER registration is desirable.
- 3 to 8 years' experience as a Structural Engineer in a design consultant capacity is preferred.
- A passion for analysis, design and documentation.
- Experience in an Australian consulting environment.
- Strong communication skills both oral and written (including technical report writing).
- A desire to continue learning and share knowledge, skills, and experience through professional development.
- Excellent time and priority management skills
- Ability to mentor junior Engineers, subject to experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Building Code and Standards
- Experience utilising a broad range of skills across various types of buildings and materials within the Australian consulting environment would be beneficial.
