
Engineer, Water & Wastewater

- Manage major water & wastewater projects, including network modelling, project planning and coordination through initial inception to detailed design and construction phases
- Supervise and mentor junior staff
- Taking a leading role as a technical advisor for the team
- Collaboration with other teams and offices to ensure integrated design approach
- Provide specialist technical input to feasibility studies and conceptual designs
- Undertake construction cost estimates for budgeting and funding purposes
- Prepare written reports and make technical presentations to clients and other internal/external stakeholders
- Oversee the planning and design of various project elements, preparation of reports, hydraulic models, design calculations, technical drawings, construction plans and specifications
- Coordination with clients, sub-consultants, constructors, approval authorities, government agencies and members of the public will be necessary to accomplish assigned objectives
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Proven experience in municipal water & wastewater infrastructure planning and project management
- Must have experience in water and wastewater network modelling
- Proven leadership skills and demonstrated ability to successfully manage diverse teams
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Capable of contributing to business development activities, pursuing new clients/projects
- Must have a proven track record of leading technical engineering teams and successfully managing water & wastewater projects
