MYOTHERAPIST & REMEDIAL MASSAGE THERAPIST20-30hours per week - Commission basedAbout the practice:Our unique facility in Bayside Cheltenham is multi-functional with services including Athlete Development, Physiotherapy, Myotherapy, Remedial Massage, Psychology, Dietetics and Recovery Zone.We rely on clinical expertise and teamwork to achieve lasting outcomes for our clients. Our client base includes competitive athletes, recreational athletes and motivated professionals who are invested in their health and keen to see their injuries through to recovery.We treat over 200 clients on average per week across all streams of the sports medicine offerings.About the Role:We are seeking a skilled Myotherapist and/or Remedial Massage Therapist for our clinic. Being able to perform treatments including myotherapy, sports massage, deep tissue remedial, cupping, dry needling, rehabilitation and relaxation massage.About You:You will be a professional, enthusiastic, dedicated practitioner and team player, you will work with your clients to develop the best treatment plan for them. Being passionate about customer service is a must. We are looking for individuals with whom we can develop a long-term professional relationship.The role involves providing hands on treatments to clients, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans and collaborating with the broader team of titled and senior Physiotherapists, as well as other allied health and coaching staff.Prerequisites
  • Minimum Advanced diploma of Myotherapy or Diploma of Remedial Massage
  • Qualify to hold provider numbers with all health funds.
  • Myotherapy/Remedial massage association membership
  • Professional Indemnity insurance
  • ABN
  • Experience in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans
  • Strong hands-on therapy skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and sports injuries
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting is desirable
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR
