Securing planning is key to unlocking this value and accelerating our growth journey.The OpportunityWe are seeking a Development Planning Manager to take ownership of planning pathways across the Victorian portfolio. This newly created role will strengthen the internal planning capability, ensuring timely and commercially aligned approvals that maximise land value.You will lead PSP engagement, rezonings, and approvals, working closely with the General Manager of Development while collaborating with government, authorities, and consultant teams to achieve strategic outcomes.This is a rare opportunity to join a growth-minded private developer in a role that blends strategic planning expertise with commercial influence.Key Responsibilities

Define and deliver planning strategies across landholdings.
Lead structure planning, PSP processes, and rezonings for strategic sites.
Build and leverage strong relationships with VPA, DEECA, councils, and agencies.
Manage and coordinate external planning consultants to ensure value-for-fee outcomes.
Identify and mitigate planning risks early to support feasibility and acquisitions.
Monitor policy and infrastructure changes to position Growland advantageously.
Support the General Manager on broader project delivery and acquisitions.

About YouWe’re looking for a strategic and commercially minded planner who can navigate Victoria’s complex planning environment and deliver outcomes that unlock value.You’ll bring:

Strong expertise in Victoria’s statutory and strategic planning systems.
Proven experience with PSPs, rezonings, and approvals in growth corridors.
Established relationships with planning authorities and government stakeholders.
Commercial acumen and an understanding of how planning impacts feasibility.
Experience managing consultants and multi-disciplinary project teams.
A collaborative, proactive style with the ability to influence high-value outcomes.
Experience within a development organisation will be highly regarded.
