Walgett is located on the Namoi River near its junction with the Barwon River in northern New South Wales, 280 kilometers north of Dubbo, home to the famous Taronga Western Plains Zoo.Walgett Multipurpose Service (MPS) was included in the State’s MPS Redevelopment Program and a brand new 24-hour Emergency Department was opened in 2016. The MPS also has residential aged care, outpatient services including renal dialysis and a range of primary and community health services.Walgett has an older than state average population and a higher than the state average Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population making it an interesting and unique place to work.About us:
