- Support the delivery of corporate HSE management system requirements, initiatives, and programs.
- Lead regular site inspections and subcontractor HSE audits and report on the results.
- Assist with implementation of QHSE components including policies, standards, procedures, guidelines, and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance standards are managed, met and implemented for the project.
- Assist with the identification of HSE risks for the project and develop appropriate mitigation measures
- Drive positive safety performance outcomes with a focus on continuous improvement and produce detailed and accurate HSE reporting.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in HSE related disciplines
- Previous experience in a similar position with large scale commercial building construction projects.
- Proven skills with developing, monitoring and the implementation of safety management systems.
- Strong influencing skills and the ability to develop relationships at all levels.
- Ability to promote a safe working environment and lead a strong safety culture.
