This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned tax professional to join a dynamic, high-performing finance team as a Tax Manager ANZ. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for leading tax compliance and advisory across all direct and indirect taxes for Australian and New Zealand operations.
You’ll work closely with regional finance leaders and global tax specialists to ensure regulatory compliance while also contributing valuable commercial insights into new business deals, restructuring, and M&A activity. This position offers a unique combination of hands-on technical work, stakeholder engagement, and strategic influence across multiple business units.

- Handle tax audits, authority reviews, and risk mitigation activities
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external consultants on tax matters
- Manage compliance for income tax, GST, FBT and employment taxes across Australia and New Zealand
- Monitor tax developments and deliver updates and training across the finance function
- Oversee GST calculations and ensure compliance with Div 66 credit rules
- Provide tax advisory support on transactions, transfer pricing, and business restructures
- Support the review and lodgement of BAS, PAYG, FBT, and NZ tax filings
- Minimum 6 years’ tax experience in a Big 4 or large multinational environment
- CA, CPA, or CTA qualified
- Tertiary qualification in tax or finance (preferred)
- Strong experience with Australian GST; working knowledge of income tax, FBT and NZ tax preferred
- Proven ability to provide commercial tax advice and manage compliance risk
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
- A self-starter with a high level of accuracy and a desire to stay up to date with evolving tax laws
