We are investing in long term growth including expanding our Branch network and digital capability to deliver a premium service to our high net worth customersThe role predominately work with the Personal Lending team and is a branch to the wider Unsecured Lending team. It is responsible for the growth and ongoing development of the Personal Lending portfolio, to ensure our customers are provided and have the option to appropriate unsecured lending (excluding credit cards) products.In this role you will be responsible for assisting the end-to-end product management of all HSBC Personal Lending products with the focus being Personal Loans, to maximize the Australian portfolio through growth and strategic margin management.Your main responsibilities will include:

Driving the development of product strategies, customer journeys, along with the implementation of personal lending product related projects and changes.
Monitor product performance, underwriting outcomes, industry trends and engage with the relevant internal/ external stakeholders to achieve the desired outcome.
Manage and maintain the ongoing development of relevant Personal Lending products including Personal Loans, Overdrafts, and Personal Line of Credit.
Oversee strategic program roadmaps, development, launches, and marketing to maximize product performance.
Collaborate within Product and the broader business to provide insights into business performance and challenges

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:

Bachelor’s degree in Business / Finance / Economics and/or business-related field with relevant experience in banking & finance industry and solid knowledge within personal loan products
Experience in launching new products, starting from ideation through to roll out.
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Experience in leading / participating in cross-functional teams to define and achieve business goals
Robust analytical background and proven ability in financial/analytical reasoning, including contextualizing data to draw relevant insights and conclusions preferred, but not essential
Excellent written and oral communication with proven interpersonal skills and ability to influence at all levels of the organization preferred, but not essential
