Together we can do more.The Nursing and Midwifery Lead, Digital Health is responsible for providing clinical leadership in the design, implementation, optimisation, and ongoing support of the electronic Medical Record (eMR). This role ensures the electronic medical record (eMR) is clinically driven and is well positioned to deliver technology enhancements which support clinical workflows and improve patient safety.This role is responsible for actively engaging with clinicians, operational and technical teams to ensure eMR functionality and workflows are clinically appropriate, safe, and aligned with policy and best practice. This includes gathering input from frontline users, translating technical requirements into functional specifications, and collaborating with technical teams to support system design, configuration, and optimisation. The role facilitates communication across stakeholders to ensure that digital health functionality is accurate, aligned with clinical policies and integrated into broader clinical workflows.As a member of the Clinical Informatics Unit (CIU), the Nursing and Midwifery Lead provides guidance on clinical practices to other CIU team members.This role requires regular travel across the district, and occasionally other sites in NSW, to engage with key stakeholders and support the successful implementation of digital health initiatives.For more information and to view the position classification, see the here.A little about us., located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhaven's major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500.
