  • Playing a key role in the Allianz Group wide transformation agenda as deep subject matter expert and senior trusted advisor for risk in change.
  • Lead and facilitate risk assessments, escalation and reporting to meet both local and Group requirements relating to Risk in Change.
  • Identifying regulatory, legislative and industry code obligations requirements for processes and controls intended to be delivered by the program, are considered throughout the project life cycle.
  • Identifying any new controls to be implemented or existing controls requiring uplift during the 'design and build' phase and facilitate controls co-design workshops with program stakeholders and the impacted Division's Risk and Compliance team, and ensure they are reflected in the delivered risk assessments and accepted by the impacted divisions business owners.
  • Engaging and coordinating with the relevant IT Risk and Cyber teams to ensure required assessments for any new IT platforms, assets and or functionality are completed,
About you:
  • Significant leadership experience in risk management, compliance (including regulatory compliance) or internal audit within a complex, matrixed financial services (corporate) organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience in assessing the level of risk and in developing and executing plans to mitigate risk and leading and facilitating risk workshops (including for delivery and delivered risk assessments).
  • Demonstrated experience in process and management control design combined with the expert ability to understand operational and compliance risks inherent or emerging in a business area.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes.
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions.
