In this key role, you will lead internal messaging across a complex organisational structure, crafting clear, consistent communications that support major change initiatives and tell our stories well.Partnering with senior leaders and business units, you will identify communication needs and develop tailored channels, produce engaging content, guiding the rollout of key communication programs.From leadership messages and newsletters to intranet articles and events, you will ensure our communications are impactful, inclusive, and aligned with organisational goals. You will also manage feedback loops, maintain editorial oversight, and uphold compliance and safety standards while fostering a culture of connection and two-way dialogue.Your work will help embed our values, energise our culture, and ensure all our Members, Volunteers and Employees feel informed, empowered, and connected.This is a Permanent, Full-time position (38 hours per week) based in our State Administration Office in South Brisbane.Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout YouTo be successful in the role, you will bring:
Extensive experience in internal or corporate communications, preferably in a large, complex organisation.
Proven ability to develop and deliver strategic internal communication plans.
Experience implementing and leveraging internal communication platforms and channels including intranets, internal email platforms, townhalls, CEO communications, mobile apps and more.
Proven ability to advise C-suite and Executive Leaders on communication messaging, strategy and delivery.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, identifying and delivering on what's most important while maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.
A positive, solution-focused mindset with the ability to experiment, pivot and adapt.
Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related discipline.
