Office-Based Senior Surveyor | Infrastructure & Subdivisions

Hours: Full-timeAbout the Role:
Fetch is working with a long-standing civil contractor looking to bring in a technically strong Surveyor, Senior Surveyor or Draftsperson into their South Brisbane office. We're open on level - whether you've got 5+ years under your belt or you're more senior, it's about the right fit. This one's ideal for someone who's keen to step off the tools and take ownership of the computation side of survey delivery.
You'll be the go-to for model building, machine files and quantity calcs, supporting the teams out on site. The work leans mostly infrastructure but you'll also dip into construction and subdivision from time to time. You'll be working closely with both the pre-construction and field survey teams - so communication's just as important as computation.What's on Offer:

Key Responsibilities:

Run computations and prepare data/models for crews on site
Build machine guidance files and 3D models in 12d
Perform quantity take-offs and volume calcs
Liaise with field teams to ensure data clarity and accuracy
Support ADAC drafting and QA processes when needed

What We're Looking For:

5+ years' experience - whether that's as a Surveyor, Senior Surveyor or Draftsperson, we're open to different levels and backgrounds
Strong 12d user with experience building models and running calcs
Confident communicator who can coordinate across teams
Trimble experience a plus
A technically-minded person who's ready to step up and support the field teams by owning the back-end
