Join a well-established manufacturer in Pinkenba and put your skills to work in a supportive team environment.We’re currently seeking a motivated Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join a leading producer of bitumen-based products used in road surfacing across Australia. This role offers consistent work, competitive pay, and the chance to secure a permanent position.Who will you be working with?
Our client, Ixom Operations (formerly Bituminous Products), is a trusted name in the manufacture and supply of bitumen and associated products for road surfacing. Based in Pinkenba, they are known for their quality, reliability, and commitment to safety, and they are seeking dependable team members to support their growing operations.What are the benefits?

$36 per hour + penalties
Temp-to-perm opportunity with a long-term outlook
Regular full-time hours, Monday–Friday, with Sunday shifts as required

What will you be doing?

Operating a counterbalance forklift to move in-process and finished stock
Supporting production by moving materials between areas
Control room operation and data entry of shipments
Cleaning, maintaining, and securing plant equipment
Participating in safety meetings and following company policies
Working across varying shifts including days, afternoons, and occasional weekends (Sundays)

What do you need?

Current Forklift (Counterbalance) Licence
Current Driver’s Licence
Physically fit and able to work in hot, odorous environments (bitumen plant)
Able to work across day and afternoon shifts, with Sunday work required during peak times
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to also work independently
Accuracy, attention to detail, and a safety-first attitude
Computer literacy for data entry tasks
Self-motivated, reliable, and able to follow processes and procedures
