Cleanaway provides sustainable waste management solutions to a range of customers including councils, small businesses, large corporate entities and government agencies.Our Adelaide sales team are seeking dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager keen to hunt out new business opportunities and markets. We are looking for a talented individual who thrives on building relationships and driving business growth in diverse markets.Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, target, and acquire new key accounts, expanding Cleanaway's presence in various sectors.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue.
  • Monitor market trends and competitors to make informed recommendations and adjustments.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis on account performance, sales, and market trends.
  • Prepare and submit tenders, manage contract renewals, and negotiate with key clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Prepare sales presentations and reports on account status, revenue, and growth opportunities.
About You:
  • Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within waste management, environmental services, or facilities management.
  • Ability to respond to tender proposals and manage pricing in collaboration with Cleanaway teams.
  • Drive to enhance revenue, margins, and operating profit to meet short-term and long-term goals.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
  • Professionalism and proactive approach to driving business outcomes.
