
Depot Manager Shepparton

- To provide strategic and tactical leadership of supply chain, operations and administration of OFP Victoria depots including warehousing, carton erecting and distribution to fulfill customer orders.
- Overall management of equipment, employees, agents, safety, logistics and administration
- To manage all depot activities within the regional Vic network and administration over third party depot sites, including all machinery equipment location and maintenance across the network.
- Key focus is delivery of improved safety performance, 3PL performance, innovation and cost initiatives across the Victorian depot network.
- Degree qualified (Warehousing, Supply Chain or Business preferable)
- At least 3 years supply chain operations experience in large organisation with a high SKU and customer environment
- Ability to effectively influence cross-functional stakeholders on matter of process and performance
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems, especially SAP
- Ability to negotiate and build relationships with internal and external parties and able to relate to individuals at all levels within the organisation
- Well-developed leadership skills and the ability to manage and influence effectively across a large team with a diverse range of skills and experience
- A safety champion, someone who has a good understanding of appropriate safety standards and responsibilities under chain of responsibility and WHSE legislation
- Effective cost management and reduction experience, negotiating contracts, managing suppliers
