You will come to us with: Relevant engineering degree with Chartered status (or equivalent); post-graduate qualifications are advantageous. 7+ years' experience in ITS, Communications Design, Traffic Engineering, or related fields within consultancy or construction. Communications Networks & Design: Experience with communication systems, including design and implementation. Systems Engineering: Expertise in developing and assessing transport technology systems. Power and Asset Design: Proficiency in electrical engineering, power systems, and asset planning. ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems): Hands-on design and implementation of ITS solutions. Civil & Electrical Design Understanding: Beneficial knowledge of civil engineering and electrical design practices for real world applications Feasibility Assessment: Ability to see the big picture and assess project feasibility and provide strategic recommendations. Ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong collaboration with the team and leadership. Provide technical advice, guidance, and mentorship to team members. Build tools and processes to enhance team efficiency and innovation. Electrical Engineering Registration: Highly advantageous for the role. Experience in designing and implementing emerging technologies and innovative solutions. Strong focus on data analytics and technical problem-solving. Excellent teamwork, leadership, and the ability to guide teams through complex projects. Design Tools: Proficiency with MicroStation, Visio, AutoCAD, GIS, and civil interface tools would be advantageous.
