We partner closely with business stakeholders to build high-quality analytics products that fuel data-driven decision-making.As a Lead Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of ResMed’s data strategy, leading the architecture and development of scalable data systems and business intelligence applications.This role offers a hybrid working environment, with time split between our Bella Vista office and working from home.What You Bring

Data Architecture: Lead design and development of core data architecture across platforms.
Real-Time Analytics & Streaming: Build solutions using Kafka and Flink to enable real-time decision-making.
Data Warehouse Development: Develop sophisticated data models using SQL and dbt on Snowflake.
Cloud Infrastructure: Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform to manage analytics platforms.
CI/CD & Automation: Drive automated deployment using GitHub Actions, manage repositories, and optimize workflows.
Leadership & Mentorship: Guide junior engineers, champion best practices, and shape data strategy.

Must-Have Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
10+ years of experience with SQL on large-scale analytics platforms.
10+ years in software development (requirements, coding, testing).
6+ years of hands-on experience with Python, version control, and data pipelines.
5+ years managing GitHub repositories and deploying cloud infrastructure using Terraform.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with dbt, Dagster, and Snowflake.
Master’s degree in a STEM field.
12+ years of related experience in data engineering.
