The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of culinary professionals in the design and delivery of exceptional F&B offerings in fabulously refurbished venues, that appeal to skiers and non-skiers alike in Falls Creek and the entire local region in Albury/Wodonga.   • Overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen and coordinating food preparation and cooking activities.
  • Developing innovative and creative menus that combine both modern-creative and traditional styles of cooking.
  • Setting and monitoring food quality and safety standards, and ensuring that the kitchen meets regulatory requirements.
  • Maintaining inventory levels and ordering stock and supplies as needed.
  • Managing food and labor costs, and preparing budgets and financial reports.
  • Recruiting, training, and supervising kitchen staff, and providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Working closely with the sales team to develop and promote food and beverage offerings, and participating in promotional events to enhance the company's brand and reputation.
Requirements
  • Experience in Asian Cuisine desirable
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume, multi-outlet, or remote location food service environment.
  • A degree or diploma in culinary arts, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team and communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations, and experience in maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Demonstrated creativity and innovation in menu design and presentation.
  • Ability to manage costs and budgets effectively, and experience in preparing financial reports.
  • A willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays, and to relocate to remote locations as required.
