The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of culinary professionals in the design and delivery of exceptional F&B offerings in fabulously refurbished venues, that appeal to skiers and non-skiers alike in Falls Creek and the entire local region in Albury/Wodonga. Overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen and coordinating food preparation and cooking activities.
Developing innovative and creative menus that combine both modern-creative and traditional styles of cooking.
Setting and monitoring food quality and safety standards, and ensuring that the kitchen meets regulatory requirements.
Maintaining inventory levels and ordering stock and supplies as needed.
Managing food and labor costs, and preparing budgets and financial reports.
Recruiting, training, and supervising kitchen staff, and providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
Working closely with the sales team to develop and promote food and beverage offerings, and participating in promotional events to enhance the company's brand and reputation.

Requirements

Experience in Asian Cuisine desirable
At least 2 years of experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume, multi-outlet, or remote location food service environment.
A degree or diploma in culinary arts, or a related field.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team and communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations, and experience in maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
Demonstrated creativity and innovation in menu design and presentation.
Ability to manage costs and budgets effectively, and experience in preparing financial reports.
A willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays, and to relocate to remote locations as required.
