The CentreLocated in Sydney's Northern Beaches, this centre is seeking Diploma Educators and Early Childhood Teachers to join their team on a full-time basis! You will have options to choose either 4 or 5 days per week, with set shifts each week, allowing you to have a work life balance opportunity. The centre has a very low staff turnover and it’s the chance to join a strong team who are highly dedicated to providing the best quality of education and care. Catering to the 3-5 year olds, you will be implementing a high quality school readiness program in collaboration with other educators with time off the floor for programming and planning. Management are highly supportive in mentoring staff and are always on the floor engaging with staff and children.The Role:As a Diploma Educator or Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible to:
  • Create and maintain a fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment
  • Create and maintain meaningful and positive relationships with children and families
  • Create and/or implement the educational program for the preschool room through lesson plannings, structured learning, and intentional activities, an extension of spontaneous activities and interests and family input to support children's transition to big school
  • Adhere to NQS as well as company policies and procedures to ensure the service is compliant

About youTo be successful in this position, you must have:
  • Diploma or Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and Care OR an ACECQA equivalent qualification
  • Current Working with Children’s Check
  • Current first-aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
  • Food handling Certificate or willing to obtain
  • Prior experience working in childcare
  • Strong udnerstanding of the EYLF and NQS
