What's the role?We're looking for a curious and driven Associate Full Stack Engineer to join our fast-paced, global tech team. In this role, you'll help build and support innovative, customer-facing web applications that power our data business across Australia, the US, and the UK. Working closely with Data Engineers and other developers, you'll gain hands-on experience developing impactful products that leverage big data and analytics to drive revenue and redefine digital experiences.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with senior developers and stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications.Write clean, testable, and efficient code using modern frameworks and best practices.Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.Contribute to code reviews and continuously improve code quality and team processes.Stay curious: explore new technologies and contribute ideas that improve our platforms and development workflows.Who are you?A natural collaborator who thrives in cross-functional teams and loves solving real-world problems.Comfortable with full stack development, particularly using Node.js, Angular 2+, and AWS environments.Eager to learn and grow, with a passion for clean code, automation, and modern DevOps practices like CI/CD and containerisation.Clear and confident communicator, able to tailor messages to technical and non-technical audiences.Adaptable and resilient—someone who doesn’t mind ambiguity and enjoys working in a fast-changing environment.News BenefitsNews Benefits is our way of saying thank you to our people for their valued contribution to News, our audiences, clients and communities.
