This is your chance to take your career to the next level.About The Position:Seeking a new career path and have an interest in security and aviation? Play a critical role with a diverse team of Security Professionals dedicated to safety and compliance screening cargo as part of a national team!You will be:
  • Efficiently operate screening equipment to ensure the security of cargo and assets
  • Keep things moving smoothly by managing the flow of goods and services through our facilities
  • Follow process control documentation, including safe work method statements and work instructions, to maintain a secure and compliant environment
What we are looking for:
  • Willing to commit to complete company provided training to gain Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (Cargo) OR currently hold a Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (Cargo).
  • Ability to successfully pass drug and alcohol screening and medical assessments including an Ishihara test.
  • Ability to obtain an ASIC (Criminal history clearance in the past 10 years) which ISS pay for.
  • A VIC Security License is highly desired!
  • Hold an unrestricted driver's license and have own reliable vehicle.
  • Availability to work across a 24/7 rotational roster.

About the Certificate II Transport Security Protection (Cargo) (TSP):Aviation security is an important industry, to meet new and emerging threat levels, specific theoretical knowledge has been passed through Parliament as a requirement for all Aviation Screeners.As the Employer AND Training Provider, we are in a unique position to guide and support you through the Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (Cargo) and 40 hours paid On-the-Job Training required for all Aviation Screeners preparing you for your new role as a Freight Aviation Protection Officer, with our Registered Training Organisation.This nationally recognised qualification is offered at the cost of $500 (normally valued at $2000).
