HealthShare NSW is seeking a motivated and proactive Revenue Officer, Patient Billing to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate billing for patients across NSW Health, contributing to the delivery of efficient, high-quality services that support patient care.What you'll be doing
As a Revenue Officer, you'll be responsible for:
- Generating invoices accurately and on time, in line with service agreements, policies, and legislation.
- Acting as the first point of contact for patients, carers, and health entities, providing professional and compassionate customer service.
- Supporting billing operations through administration, quality control, and audit readiness.
- Collaborating with your team to identify and implement process improvements that enhance billing efficiency and accuracy.
- Contributing to a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within Patient Billing Shared Services.
We want someone who thrives in a busy environment, has strong attention to detail, and can balance competing priorities with professionalism. You'll bring:
- Experience working in finance, billing, or administration (healthcare experience highly regarded).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with patients and stakeholders with empathy and discretion.
- Proven ability to follow procedures while exercising sound judgment in sensitive situations.
