Coordinate daily blast activities
Working with site leadership team to ensure blasting targets are achieved safely and efficiently
Lead and mentor crews, providing guidance and support to ensure safe and efficient operations
Manage explosives handling and storage, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and site-specific requirements
Carry out inspections and audits, identifying and addressing hazards or non-compliance
Report on blast performance and production targets, using data to drive continuous improvement

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Minimum 5 Years' experience in a senior shotfirer position
Proven ability to lead and manage high performing teams
Experience in a step-up supervisor role
Electronics experience advantageous
Current Dangerous Goods Security Card
Current Shot Firer Licence
Current Drivers Licence (manual essential)
HR Licence (advantageous)
Strong knowledge of explosives and blasting techniques
Strong communication skills
Have a “Can Do” attitude to safety
Current WA drivers' licence
