North and South of the river there are a variety of temporary assignments available including administration, customer service, planning, and community development.Responsibilities
  • Greeting visitors at reception
  • Answering phone calls
  • Preparing, organising and storing information in paper and digital form
  • Diary Management, scheduling meetings and booking rooms
  • Arranging travel and accommodation
  • Liaising with staff in all departments
  • Taking minutes at meetings
  • Typing up letters and reports
  • Data entry
  • Maintaining office systems
  • Arranging post and deliveries
Skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Work well within a team and also autonomously
  • Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Competent with computer packages (word, excel, outlook etc.)
  • Previous Local or State Government experience is highly desirable
