At Yancoal our people are our most valuable asset and we invest in developing our management and leadership talent throughout our operations.Job Tasks and ResponsibilitiesReporting to the HST Superintendent, the role will require you to:
  • Provide technical expertise, advice and coaching in all matters relating to health and safety in line with the companies Health and Safety Management System relevant legislation.
  • Coordinate site health and safety assurance activities.
  • Engage with key internal and external stakeholders in health and safety related matters.
  • Ensure key elements of the Health and Safety Management System are maintained.
Skills and ExperienceDesirable Criteria:
  • Tertiary qualifications in OHS/Training
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
  • Experience in return to work coordination.
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Previous experience in an HST role within the heavy industry sector.
