We are seeking a Clinical Nurse (Nurse Grade 6) with strong experience in forensic mental health to join the team at Rockhampton Forensic Mental Health Service. This short-term contract is suited to a nurse who can work independently in a secure mental health setting and contribute to patient safety and rehabilitation.Requirements
Essential:
- Forensic Mental Health experience
- Current Driver's Licence
- General Criminal History Check (must be valid)
- Ability to commit to Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts
- Nurse on call: No
- Must agree to an 8-hour shift agreement

Rockhampton Forensic Mental Health Service provides specialist mental health care for individuals in secure environments. Nurses work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver care in line with forensic mental health principles, balancing clinical needs with legal and community safety requirements.Accommodation & Travel
- Shared accommodation will be provided (on-site not always guaranteed).
- Domestic travel reimbursement: $200 incl. GST each way with tax receipts (travel at commencement and completion only, within 2 days of contract dates).
- All travel must be pre-approved by CQHHS in writing.
