Responsibilities:The key objectives for this role are:
  • Overseeing multiple projects from concept to completion, managing budgets, timelines, and resources
  • Develops and implements electrical and instrumentation designs, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards.
  • Leads and guides a team of engineers, providing technical guidance, and fostering a collaborative work environment
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, managing expectations, and ensuring their satisfaction with project outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and safety standards
  • Identifies and implements innovative solutions, troubleshoots complex issues, and provides technical support
  • Contributes to design review workshops and quality checks
  • Foster a culture of safe delivery, continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration

  • Minimum 12 years' direct experience managing projects on major hazards facilities (MHF)
  • Demonstrable experience of embedding safety considerations into all aspects of electrical and instrumentation engineering and design
  • Proven experience of being directly involved on projects in the chemicals / agricultural sectors.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical and/or mechatronics engineering (or related field)
  • Must be available to work onsite in Laverton, Victoria
