Working Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, you will play a key part in our environmental monitoring and sampling operations.This role offers the opportunity to work autonomously in the field while being supported by a well-established and experienced team. The successful candidate must also be willing to travel to assist our teams at Boggabri and Whitehaven sites as needed.Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
  • Collection of dust, water, and air samples in accordance with environmental and safety standards
  • Assisting with sample preparation and basic analysis
  • Routine equipment maintenance and ensuring tools are in working order
  • Adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times
  • Collaborating with cross-site teams when required
  • Data entry and record keeping
  • Following Quality Work Instructions (QWI) and operational procedures
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a field-based or mining environment is highly regarded
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to take on extra shifts if needed
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
  • Capable of working independently and without direct supervision
  • Current driver's license (essential)
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
