In this role, you will:Apply your coding expertise by reviewing patient records (paper and electronic), accurately allocating ICD-10-AM and ACHI codes, and assigning DRGs using Solventum Coding and Grouping software, in line with Australian Coding Standards and NSW Health guidelines.Work collaboratively with health professionals to clarify diagnoses and procedures, ensuring patient privacy and confidentiality is maintained at all times.Contribute to quality and compliance through coding audits, HACs reviews, clinical reviews, as well as maintaining PICQ and RISQ indicators.Support continuous improvement and innovation by staying up to date with coding developments, implementing new practices from IHACPA/NSW Health, and actively participating in quality initiatives such as EQUIP.Grow and share your expertise by assisting with training new coders, answering coding queries, and contributing to weekly clinician–coder meetings.About youWe’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Clinical Coder who is passionate about accuracy and quality in health information.
