people2people are excited to be working with our client, a family-owned business who specialise in manufacturing products to service clients across Queensland nationally.This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Officer to join a close-knit team with family values on a permanent part-time basis. This is a 1 day a week role (Friday,) with the flexibility to become 2 days. The successful candidate must be flexible to cover leave.About the role:

Full-function Accounts Receivable
Billing, receipting and allocation of payments
Maintenance of the debtor ledger and review outstanding debt
Review and maintenance of AR inbox
Responding to debtor inquiries
End to end processing of a small payroll
Other ad hoc admin duties and projects within the scope of the role.

About you:
To be successful for the role, you must demonstrate the following:

Demonstrated experience in the position accountabilities
Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management
Exceptional numeracy skills
Computer literate and strong with systems – experience with MYOB is highly advantageous
Exceptional communication and customer service skills
A positive, team-focused and “can-do attitude.
