
Disability Life Skills Supporter - Western Sydney

- Local to Western Sydney (Quakers Hill, St Marys, Hornsby, Penrith, Springwood, etc.)
- SCHADS Level 2 base rate from $34.58 per hour plus salary packaging benefits, penalty rates, and superannuation
- Salary packaging benefits up to $18,550 per year (pay less tax)
- Must be flexible to work across the week including weekends from 9am to 5pm depending on the business requirements
- Aiding with daily life activities and assistance for community support such as attending a doctor’s appointment and shopping.
- Supporting individuals with their educational and work-related endeavours.
- Facilitating access to various community, social, and recreational activities.
- Assisting with transportation to enable access to daily activities and engagements.
- Experience or qualifications in disability or aged care
- Experience supporting people with complex behaviours and/or mental health needs using a person-centred approach
- Good and effective English communication skills
- Ability to do accurate records, reports, and case notes through a mobile phone
- Knowledge of the Disability Inclusion Act 2014, Disability Service Standards and the NDIS
- Possession of a valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Workers Check
- NSW Driver’s license (can be on Green P Plates), access to a reliable car and Comprehensive car insurance are required for the role.
- First Aid Certificate is also a necessary qualification.
- A Certificate III or IV in Disability or Individual Support
