- Provide great customer service, reflecting solid knowledge of customer needs and perception of best value
- Execution of the Water Utility division tactical plan including both sales and marketing activities
- Continually grow and develop personal expertise within products and applications relevant to the market sector and customer base
- Deliver added customer value reflecting a sell-through mindset, demonstrating an understanding of end-customer needs and where relevant, development of key end-user relationships
- Apply Sales Excellence principles utilising SAP CRM
- Collaborate with Sales Development Managers (SDM) and Key Account Managers (KAM) to improve profitable sales growth across National Key Accounts
- Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders in the division to achieve goals
- Retention and growth of key customers including dealers, consultants, and end-users maintaining personal contact with all key stakeholders (buying and non-buying)
- Identify and implement new opportunities within the division to increase the share of wallet and potential growth areas
- Conduct customer training including online and face-to-face formats
- Any other responsibilities commensurate with the position as required
- Experience in B2B sales in water-related industries such as pumps, plumbing, groundwater, irrigation, hydraulics, or solar/renewables preferred
- Sound knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Ability to direct processes or projects and liaise with multiple stakeholders to achieve effective and acceptable outcomes
- Experience in the principles of Sales Excellence
- Proficient in a range of software tools such as SAP, MS Office & CRM
- Experience in delivering product and application-based training
- Possess a solid understanding of the relevant systems, local laws, specifications, and regulations where applicable for the customer's requirements
