At CoM you will find unrivalled opportunities to succeed and realise your full potential.But enough about us, let’s talk about youThe City of Mandurah Recreation Centres are looking for talented and enthusiastic individuals to fill the positions of Sports Umpire (Pickleball) for the current sports seasons within the Recreation Centres.You will be responsible for:
  • Officiating Pickleball games and competitions run at the Mandurah Aquatic Recreation Centre.
  • Setting up of courts and programs and ensuring the sessions run smoothly
  • Coaching new players and ensuring the rules are followed
  • Pickleball is currently run Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Availability for these days is required in addition to Monday evenings.
  • Representing the City of Mandurah in a professional capacity during all competitions.
To be successful you will have:
  • National Police Clearance (dated within 3 months)
  • Current Badges (if any) for Accreditation Pay Levels.
  • WWC (or willing to obtain)
  • First aid certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • Must be able to pass Pre-employment Medical, Drug and Alcohol screening.
  • Previous experience as a pickleball player
  • Previous experience as a pickleball official (desired)
This casual Level Sports Umpire 1-3 position attracts a pay rate of $35.88 - $44.54 per hour (inclusive of 20% casual loading) dependent on qualifications and experience.To apply please visit our Careers page at and include a Cover letter detailing your interest and relevant experience/accreditation.
