We aim to provide the best possible high-performance program and facilities, in addition to unwavering support to our iconic national teams the Kookaburras and the Hockeyroos.As a strong values-based organisation, our inclusive culture, employee benefits and commitment to learning and development, are the reason why we believe we are an employer of choice in the sporting industry.About the RoleThe role will lead the National Integrity Framework and related policies into all levels of the sport to ensure members have confidence that they are participating in a safe, clean, inclusive, and fair sport, and act as the main point of contact for integrity and complaint related matters for HA.Key ResponsibilitiesIntegrity Leadership

Oversee implementation of the National Integrity Framework and related policies.
Manage relationships with key integrity bodies including Sport Integrity Australia and the National Sports Tribunal.
Lead the Safe Hockey program to ensure child-safe environments.
Act as the primary contact for integrity and complaints, ensuring effective resolution in line with policy.
Provide expert guidance to Member Associations on integrity matters and policy breaches.

Governance Excellence

Drive best-practice governance across the organisation.
Maintain and evolve the HA Governance Framework, including delegations and regulatory compliance.
Provide secretariat support for the Integrity & Risk Unit and Ethics & Governance Committee.

Strategic Risk Management

Lead the development and implementation of HA's Risk Management Policy and Risk Register.
Deliver strategic advice on emerging risks and mitigation strategies.
Oversee risk identification, assessment, and monitoring across all programs and operations.

Experience, Skills and Attributes

Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated experience in sport management, law, governance, business or related field.

Demonstrated experience in the Australian sport sector, particularly in the provision of advice in areas including member protection, child safeguarding, Anti-Doping and corruption in sport. Experience in analysing complex information and developing plans to achieve desired and timely outcomes
Ability to evaluate and manage complaints and reports in a fair and impartial manner
Due to the nature of the sporting industry, irregular hours, including weekend and after-hours work will be required from time to time.
