Role: Centre Cook /Catering AssistantLocation: BrightonCentre: Goodstart Brighton North RoadEmployment Type: Part-Time Monday to Friday 8.30am to 1.30pmPay: $28-$32.50 p/hr depending on experience and qualifications

Support the health and wellbeing of the children through planning, heating and preparing nutritious meals and snacks
Prepare meals to meet the needs of children with special dietary requirements and allergies. Meals are provided by a national supplier and need to be heated and served
Have exceptional knowledge of safety and wellbeing
Order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director
Ensure safe and hygienic storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks
Be willing to learn and be a part of the team
Show strong communication skills and be reliable and punctual

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting
Current QLD Working with Children Check (or be willing and able to obtain)
