MSS Security is looking for reliable and customer-focused security officers to join our team in the Townsville area. In this role, you’ll help maintain a strong security presence while providing great service to both clients and colleagues. We work with multiple clients, so flexibility is key you’ll need to be available across a rotating 24/7 roster.We have multiple roles across mining sites and corporate facilities where your duties would include but not limited to:Manage site access and credentials — Check identification, issue access cards using the Gallagher system, and oversee key handovers for secure areas.Monitor and operate security systems — Work from the control room to monitor CCTV, alarms, and other systems to maintain site security.Perform physical security tasks — Carry out static guarding, mobile patrols, lock/unlock buildings, and provide crowd control when required.Support operations and events — Assist with local council enforcement, support events, and adapt to additional security needs as directed.Provide professional customer service — Handle inquiries, requests, and concerns from customers, stakeholders, and visitors in a courteous and timely manner.Ensure a safe and secure environment — Proactively identify and respond to risks, maintaining a safe environment for staff, visitors, and the public.Essential Criteria:A current QLD Security Licence (Unarmed, Monitoring, and Crowd Control)Certificate II (or higher) in Security OperationsValid First Aid and CPR certificationsA valid Open QLD Driver’s LicenceConfident using Microsoft Office at an intermediate levelHow to applyMSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
