Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate advice and practical assistance on HR policies, SA Public Sector guidelines, and employment conditions.
  • Monitoring and advising on the Vacancy Management System for efficient vacancy filling.
  • Coordinating employee entitlements and benefits administration, including salary sacrifice.
  • Analysing VMS requisitions to provide HR advice for vacancy filling decisions.
  • Ensuring VISA application details are recorded, and movement of VISA holders are captured and reported to the Department of Home Affairs as requested.
  • Maintaining HR databases and systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Contributing to employee staffing establishment maintenance.
  • Building positive relationships with stakeholders and providing timely support.
  • Preparing standardized employment contracts in accordance with SA Health framework.
  • Liaising with managers and Shared Services SA on various HR matters.
  • Administering and securely maintaining confidential personnel records on HRMS.
  • Offering general administrative support to the Workforce Team, including financial activities facilitation.
The Human Resources Officer is accountable to the Team Leader HR Support and Workforce Data for the provision of a confidential, quality and timely HR advice, including the provision of advice on a range of operational human resource and administrative procedures, whilst maintaining efficient work practices and upholding SAAS values.Salary Packaging with MaxxiaAs an employee of SA Ambulance Service, you may be eligible to salary package a range of living expenses through Maxxia -Visit for more information.The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working including part-time.
