And being at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry gives our teams constant opportunities to build on their technical expertise.YOUR ROLEWorking at our site in Mulwala on Yorta Yorta land you will learn on the job and study to gain your Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade.Some of the key skills you will learn as a Mechanical Fitter Apprentice are:

Conduct preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement activities on equipment
Repair, overhaul, and test equipment, as well as perform installations
Interpret drawings and sketches, and work according to a predetermined maintenance schedule
Complete risk assessments and identify underperforming plant equipment for further analysis

YOUR EXPERIENCEThe most important attribute for the role is a great attitude and willingness to learn, but you will also need to:

Have completed year 11 studies at a minimum (by the end of 2024)
Have great communication skills and enjoy interacting with different groups of people
Be able to complete maths problems and put this to use in the workplace
We will consider transfers of 1/2/3rd year apprentices as well as school leavers
