Its home to heritage and ancient aboriginal art sites, boasting a range of seasonal wildflowers and some of the world's oldest rock formations.Programmed Facility Management are seeking an experienced an experienced Maintenance Carpenters to join our Carnarvon / Midwest Team. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of an essential team that provides maintenance services to over 18,000 public housing dwellings for the Department of Communities, including Aboriginal communities in remote locations throughout the State.Benefits Provided

Key ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Branch Supervisor, the Maintenance Carpenter is primarily responsible for general maintenance and reactive maintenance of our contract's facilities.Duties include:
  • Complete any general maintenance and installation of cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings
  • Use hand tools, machines, or power saws as required
  • Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean environment
About YouTo join our team, you will be a qualified Carpenter who has experience in a domestic or commercial environment, has excellent attention to detail and a strength for delivering a high quality service without compromise. The incumbent is a key person within the Team, promoting staff morale while displaying a “can do” and “Team Player” attitude. Additionally, you will provide first-class customer service whilst maintaining a commitment to the safety of yourself and others at all times.Additionally, you will possess:
  • Certificate III in Carpentry & Joinery (mandatory)
  • Locksmith experience (desirable)
  • VALID C Class and HRWL (LF) License (mandatory)
  • Australian Working Rights
  • Ability to pass comprehensive (Client) Pre-Employment Medical including Instant Drug and Alcohol Screening
  • Current satisfactory National Police Check (within 6 months)
  • First Aid training and Trade based competencies (desirable)
Additionally, you will also possess the following skills:
  • Advanced Systems and Technology experience i.e., MS Office, online/web-based Workorder Management Software (Loc8) and Safety, Payroll & Training requirements,
  • Ability to work in a Team; be a self-motivator and take instructions.
  • Ability to prioritise and adapt to changing work tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate a professional approach in the workplace, with excellent customer service skills.
  • Have a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others, at all times.
