The candidate should enjoy finding new innovative methods of doing things and believe that change is the only constant.If your passion is to build solutions that really make a difference to enterprises, the community and your world, Infosys is the right place for you.The Senior Business Analyst works within program and project teams, contributes to strategic objectives by assisting Program and Project Managers on projects involving dedicated specialist teams across the organization, while also contributing to the uplift in the skills and abilities of project teams by contributing their expertise and experience to team members as required:Role: Lead ConsultantLocation: SydneySalary: AUD 134,564 - 141,157 (Annual Gross)Please Note: The above salary range is only indicative and maybe subject to suitable enhancements, based on internal company processes.Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Lead and own responsibility for providing functional and non-functional analysis to enable the key business needs to be translated into technical specifications or other documentation, to facilitate the delivery of a program or multiple projects.
  • Undertake requirements gathering, data and process mapping and modelling.
  • Document and record findings in a way that is meaningful and understood by stakeholders.
  • Support the strategy and planning of the project and be expected to work with various stakeholders across this business; and
  • When required, ensure that documentation produced by team members meets project standards and take corrective action if required.
Skills and Competencies:
  • A detailed level of knowledge of the energy sector, including both industry and regulatory matters.
  • Extensive experience gathering, writing and analyzing requirements and taking them through to conceptualization.
  • Experience in authoring technical documentation and end user documentation.
  • Excellent analytical skills, including a proven ability to quickly analyze and develop data models, identify patterns, business rules, workflows and interfaces.
  • Proven ability to conceptualise, develop and articulate solutions and to specify functional / non-functional technical requirements that are well accepted by stakeholders within short time-frames.
  • Effectively communicate (verbal or written) to internal and external stakeholders. Sound interpersonal, consultation and facilitation skills coupled with proven ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of diverse internal teams.
  • Ability to work as directed, while using initiative and gather experience to take preventative steps when required to ensure that a program or project meets delivery targets; and
  • Provide insights and impart knowledge within the project team as required to ensure that staff are developed in terms of project management skills and abilities.
Essential:
  • Tertiary qualification in an appropriate discipline (business, human resources or finance); and
  • Minimum 10 years' experience as a Business Analyst or role of similar capacity.
Additional Skills:
  • Excellent customer interfacing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
