
Fire Services Technician

- Maintain fire suppression systems to the highest standard.
- Work across multiple sites, providing consistent quality work.
- Make recommendations for maintenance improvements.
- Stay updated with technical and product changes.
- Perform adhoc inspections and repairs during spare time on site.
- Certificate 2 in Fire protection Inspection and Testing
- A current driver's licence (Standard 11 certification is desirable).
- A proactive attitude toward safety and a commitment to fostering a positive safety culture.
- Effective communication with suppliers, subcontractors, clients, and internal personnel.
- Responsible operation of a Thiess vehicle on public roads.
- Flexible Rosters: Even-time rosters (7/7) with 12.0-hour or 12.5-hour day and night shifts. Monday to Friday, 9 Day fortnight and to some extent Casual arrangements for those who have had a lifetime of experience working set rosters in the Mining industry and now want to work less hours to build on the “Life” part of the “Work Life Balance” statement.
