Full time, continuing positionExciting opportunity to utilise your knowledge and experience to contribute to a strong research integrity cultureBase Salary $104,633 - $113,992 (HEO7) + 17% superannuationAbout the AreaThe Research Integrity Team, within the Deputy Vice Chancellor – Research (DVC-R) portfolio provides ongoing training and support for researchers across the whole University. They are committed to working with researchers to assist them to achieve research excellence in accordance with the relevant legislation, codes, and guidelines as well as Building a culture of responsible research.About the opportunityAs the Research Integrity Officer, you will provide operational support to the Research Integrity group. You will play a key role in providing administrative and executive support in the management of research related complaints and allegations in accordance with relevant policies.Your key responsibilities will be to:work with tight-knit team, reporting to the Research Integrity Managerprovide high level administrative and executive support for the management of research related complaints and allegations of research misconductdevelop and implement records management and reporting mechanisms for complaints and complaint management, with a focus on process improvementdevelop and maintain systems to ensure all information in relation to research related complaints and allegations are accurately storedparticipate in the development and delivery of training programs, materials, tools and presentations in research integrity and related areasdevelop and maintain professional relationships with the university academic and professional community and with other key internal and external stakeholdersprovide high level support for the efficient and effective functioning of relevant committees, including providing secretarial support.About youundergraduate degree or above in a relevant field and demonstrated medical, scientific and/or legal literacy skillsdemonstrated experience with complaint management in a Higher Education or highly regulated settingknowledge of the Australian Code of Conduct for Responsible Research, related policies and an understanding of the regulatory environment governing research integritydemonstrated ability to prepare and deliver effective communications to a variety of stakeholder groups, including the preparation of formal reports and lettersanalytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrated ability to design and implement reporting mechanismsability to exercise a high level of initiative, tact, and discretion in dealing with highly confidential matters.To keep our community safe, please be aware of our which form our conditions of entry for all staff, students and visitors coming to campus.Sponsorship / work rights for AustraliaPlease note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
