Your accountabilities may include:Dispensary - assist with dispensing prescriptions, maintain stock levels within the dispensary, interact with patients, process patient paymentsPharmaceutical ward supply - work closely with the clinical pharmacy teams to manage and distribute appropriate levels of medicines (non-imprest and imprest medicines) and other products supplied by the pharmacy departmentWork is mostly available on (shift times may vary from 3 hours to 8 hours):Weekdays between 8:30am and 5:15pm, 5pm and 8pmWeekends and public holidays between 8:30am and 4:30pm OR 12pm and 8pmAvailable to work casual hours during weekdays, weekends and public holidays, with availability to work at least one shift per week.About UsMore than 500 of us work in our Pharmacy Team, providing Clinical, Operational and Quality pharmacy services to patients in our hospitals and community settings. As part of our selection process, you may be invited by email to participate in an on-camera video interview. Applications will be screened upon receipt and selection activity may commence prior to the closing date.Successful applicants will be required to:
  • Attend a face-to-face seminar (one day) in October, hosted by the Monash Health Pharmacy Department. This supports successful applicants to learn about working in a hospital environment. Topics include an introduction to hospital pharmacy services, and dispensary services. Dates will be discussed at interview.
  • Attend a minimum of five (5) days of 'on the job' training during business hours in November 2025 (dates will be discussed with successful applicants).
