The DigiOps Solution Lead role will manage the DigiOps team as part of the broader Solution Development team. The team has the responsibility of performing all necessary development to deliver the DigiOps elements of program. This will include delivering the reporting solution supporting the ERP, PLM and other associated applications such as Data Warehouse, ETL and Power BI.OUR BENEFITS

YOUR ROLEWorking from our Sydney HQ, Sydney Olympic Park, on Wann-gal land, your role purpose will be:
  • Lead a team (up to 4 full time resources) to deliver the DigiOps activities in line with the agreed DigiOps development backlog
  • Developing and prioritising a backlog of DigiOps stories for application integrations
  • Act as scrum master for the DigiOps team
  • Execute Agile/Scrum Development Life Cycle way of working, including story creation, analysis and design, software development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support
  • Liaise with other members of the IS/IT team to utilise specific application and co-ordinate deployment of the DigiOps solution as part of the broader IS/IT environment
  • Developing the design for DigiOps solution required
  • Support the installation of the DigiOps solution within the Thales Australia IS/IT environment
  • Provide technical support to the team to facilitate all development activities
  • Evaluate potential solutions and make appropriate recommendations
  • Act as the DigiOps Team interface to the broader project team
YOUR EXPERIENCETo be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:
  • Undergraduate Degree or relevant industry qualifications
  • Experience in leading an agile development team delivering application development
  • Experience with Oracle database / data warehouse applications
  • Experience with Power BI report server applications
  • Experience with ETL applications (IBM Datastage and Talend preferred)
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
  • Exposure to large scale ERP deployment projects
