Global Medics are exclusively partnering with one of the largest Healthcare Providers in Australia for a Consultant/Staff Specialist in General Medicine role based at Griffith Base Hospital, New South Wales.The Murrumbidgee district is surrounded by natural beauty, including green national parks and refreshing rivers full of wildlife, perfect for hiking, fishing, birdwatching, kayaking, and other nature activities. Located in the heart of NSW, the central point of Sydney, Melbourne, and Canberra!Griffith Base Hospital is a 119-bed facility which provides a range of specialist services (both resident and visiting) including emergency medicine, critical care, general medicine, surgery, paediatric medicine, oncology, obstetrics, respiratory medicine, renal dialysis, Hospital in the Home and rehabilitation. Additional services include physiotherapy, dietetics, social work, pharmacy, occupational therapy and Aboriginal health. There are also a range of diagnostic services including pathology, CAT Scans, nuclear medicine, ultrasound and general x-ray.Griffith in the Riverina region of NSW is known as the 'food bowl' of the state for good reason. Produce thrives here, and much of it envelops Griffith, from grapes to oranges and everything in between. Requirements:
  • Fellowship of the relevant Royal Australian Medical College or equivalent
  • Specialist AHPRA registration or eligible to attain (Substantially Comparable)
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Consultant/Staff Specialist in General Medicine
