Safety Advisor - Night Shift

- Monitor compliance with the safety systems and procedures within the workplace and provide operational support to the project management team
- Conduct routine safety inspections and monitoring work areas
- Assist with conducting incident and accident investigations that may require litigation
- Assist with workers compensation claims and rehabilitation processes
- Research and assist with the development of safety policies specific to the project
- Prepare and maintain reports and documentation concerning the aspects of project safety programs
- Diploma Safety in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
- Expensive experience working in a similar role is essential, preferably on large Civil Construction, Mining or Infrastructure Projects
- Ability to interpret project related documents, preparing reports and monitoring compliance documentation
- Ability to build relationships and rapport with people at all levels
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of risk assessment and monitoring of risk controls
- Strong investigative and auditing skills.
