About the roleBased across the Sydney Metro area, we are seeking Trade Qualified Diesel Mechanics for full time work. The work will be spread across various sites including Artarmon, Ryde, Auburn, Erskine Park and Belrose.Job Responsibilities

Carry out scheduled corrective & and preventative maintenance services
Work on trucks, trailers and heavy mobile equipment
Perform fault diagnostics to detect mechanical and electrical faults
Test drive and/or operate equipment to ensure repair has been completed correctly
Ensure all equipment is safe to use and stored correctly
Repair or replace defective parts on all heavy vehicles and equipment
Maintain all aspects of heavy vehicles to NHVR
Maintain all aspects of equipment to the supplier's OEM standard

About youTo be successful in the role, you will have the following:

Licence from Motor Vehicle Repair Industry Council (MVRIC)
Certificate IV in Engineering - Automotive Mechanical
Heavy Rigid license (as a minimum)
LF Forklift license
A strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to safety
Proven experience servicing and maintaining heavy vehicles
Excellent attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
Commitment to safety and following established procedures
Willing to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
