What you'll be doingProvide community based assessment, intervention, counselling and therapeutic support of children and young people aged up to 18 years with mental health problems. Provide mental health education and training, promotion and prevention activities.What is on offer

To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible.
- Degree in either Psychology (4 year), Social Work, Health Science (Mental Health) or Nursing with registration/membership (or eligibility) of relevant professional association/board.
- Minimum 3 years experience in the mental health assessment, management and provision of therapeutic interventions including group work with children and young people, their families and carers in a community setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of the NSW Mental Health Act and the NSW Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a sole practitioner and as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering mental health services to children and young people, families and carers.
- Demonstrated organisational, communication (both written and verbal) and intermediate level computer skills.
- Current license to drive in NSW and the willingness to travel within the District, with the possibility of overnight stays.
